Meet Bonga — when the occasion calls for a climbing worm this is the way to go.

Bonga may look like an early life form in the evolution of wind-up toys — basic locomotion on eight legs, and not very fast. But for what he lacks in flashy features, he makes up for with pure determination. Wind up Bonga and he is driven forward with his relentless pedaling motion, even climbing small obstacles in his path.

Bonga was created by Chico Bicalho of Brazil whose witty industrial design uses rivets for eyes and the internal gear train, wind-up spring and materials take on a lively organic quality.
