Gary Baseman is well known in the toy world for his legendary urban vinyl figures, but his intensively creative mind spans a world of other artistic endeavors.
In addition to being a toy designer, Baseman is a prolific artist, painter, lecturer and television and movie producer. His artwork is included in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., Rome’s Museum of Modern Art and countless galleries and private collections.
His artwork also contributes to major publications such as The New Yorker, Time, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone.
